'Truly, I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of those who are the members of my family, you did it to me.' (Mathew 25:40).
Loving and caring for the poor and helpless is the heart of God. Man is called to be the hearts and minds of the Almighty. We have to extend our hands to the poor and the helpless in our society.

In our society, there are a lot of people who are abandoned, sick, mentally challenged and are wandering on the streets. They are most in need of love, affection and care. It's the sharing of God's love. Karunya Bhavan, Lakkoor shares this great love of God to the section of society by remembering the Word of God. This is the face of the Church, i.e. Faith In Action. Through the loving, dedicated and selfless service of the Director, Rev. Sisters and staff of this institution, we give light of life to the marginalized and abandoned sections in our society. I, personally, and in the name of the Church, thank all those who benevolently contribute to this institution, through their prayers, visits and financial support. I still request you continuous patronage for this institution to provide quality care and training and to further maintain the particulars of the new normal of this current age. May our Lord and God, Jesus Christ guard us and shower upon us His eternal blessings.

Yours in Christ Jesus
Dr. Samuel Mar Irenios
Bishop of Pathanamthitta
